One of these was Willier's comment that a medicine man knows where all the other shamans are, and how powerful each one is by the "glow" emitted -- anywhere from a candle in a window to the skylighting shimmer from a city. Have you ever heard the cry of the Fish Eagle? A wonderfully written story and completely enjoyed I have been to Africa many times, and have, indeed, heard the cry of the fish eagle.

Diamond, the beloved bassist, tragically dies from a broken heart as the drummer, Denny Slumdog, is arrested for assaulting a Cardinals fan. The word "Toltec" means a man or woman of knowledge, and the path of Toltecs is knowledge that inevitably leads to freedom.

There are a large number of characters in the novel, and I found myself backtracking a couple of times to try to keep track of them and their particular part in the story. Experiments done on Bald Eagles suggest that birds Cry of the Eagle in acoustic isolation produce atypical songs in their adult stages Eakle et al.

It presents Toltec teachings on the warrior's path in a well-constructed, precise and vigilant manner. For instance it describes the shooting down of one of the viscount aeroplanes towards the end of the war - very disturbing and easily pictured. The characters are really the stars of this tale with the historical detail providing a Cry of the Eagle and interesting backdrop for the action of the story. Although fictional, the story does appear to be fact based. If learning to live like that is a path with a heart for you than study the concepts in this book and practise them in your daily life, because that's where the rubber hits the road.
